Our People

Our People

The heart of Bpark can be found in this dedicated team of people. Other members also generously give their time to different committees to ensure that we can offer an extensive range of activities.

Rabbinic Team

Rabbi Baruch Levin

Senior Rabbi

Baruch is the senior Rabbi at Bpark and is passionate about community, which he likes to think of as a tapestry woven from personal connections.  He is a great believer in the importance of making Judaism relatable and meaningful in the modern world and strives to show how timeless Jewish wisdom can speak to the challenges and opportunities of contemporary society. In his other life, he is an accountant and he tries (most days in vain) to balance two sets of books.  He is married to Kezi and together they are blessed with seven children, two of whom are married.

Rebbetzen Kezi Levin

Senior Rebbtzen

Kezi is the senior Rebbetzen at Bpark and since arriving in the community in 2004, has brought creative energy and a unique buzz to every aspect of communal life, helping to shape Bpark into the out-of-the-box community it is today. She is the driving force behind our children’s services, plays a key role in the full spectrum of social events and leads a wide range of programmes for women across the community. A graduate of St Martins College of Art & Design, Kezi also runs an innovative baby brand, when she’s not leading a community or managing a lively household.

Rabbi Meir & Libi Levin

Junior Rabbinic Couple

Rabbi Meir was born and bred in Bpark, having grown up running through the chairs in the old shul. He spent a number of years studying in yeshiva, including in Melbourne and Paris, before culminating in rabbinical ordination in Manhattan. Married to Libi from Cyprus, they are now a key part of the Bpark team and at the heart of Spark YJP, helping grow the next generation of Jewish life in London through warm, premium Friday nights, standout events of all kinds, and transformative trips including to Poland and expeditions to Kilimanjaro and Mount Everest. Alongside her community work, Libi runs Baked by Libi, a boutique kosher baking brand, bringing creativity and heart to everything she does.

Professional Team

Kraindel Singer

Administrator

Kraindel is our Community Administrator, bringing a rich tapestry of experiences from both administrative and customer service roles including as an administrator at St John’s Wood Synagogue setting a strong foundation for later roles in customer service at LEGO and Legoland.  Additionally, her background as a maternity nurse instilled a profound empathy and a unique perspective on community care. Born in the UK and raised in Belgium, Kraindel returned to the UK in 2009.  A polyglot, she is fluent in English, Dutch, French, Hebrew, and Yiddish. When not at work, you can find Kraindel indulging in her love for LEGO and other creative projects.

Dan Coppel has been a member of Bpark since 2005.  Married to Sarah, they have three kids.  Dan cut his teeth leading Shabbat children’s services and says being shul Chair holds no fears after that.  Born in Northern Ireland, Dan grew up in Manchester and has lived and practised law in New York and Moscow.  One of his favourite things about Bpark is the cosmopolitan community.

He is a former lawyer and more recently a full time student at the Jewish Learning Exchange.  “I took on the role of ‘head of operations’ at Bpark when the new building opened. No one really knew what that meant, least of all me. It is akin to keeping the trains running and on time.”
